PIANO PROJECT GRANTS - Music education projects
Funding of up to $2000 to support projects that bring music education to young people who would not otherwise have an opportunity.
Applications can be from an individual or from an organisation. The application must include an explicit description of how the project will be run.
Some ideas for applications that we would love to support:
A music school project providing lessons for children who would otherwise not have the opportunity, including a process to identify children who would benefit.
Piano lessons in a community support setting for families who have come to Australia as refugees.
A community choir or instrumental group organised so that it is accessible to a diverse range of children.
Projects that take music education in to schools where these is no other formal music education.
Projects that seek out and support children from diverse backgrounds with keen interest and aptitude for music.

We aim to support music education for young people who would not otherwise have that opportunity. It is important for us that they enjoy the experience, that it is a positive part of their lives. We like to support projects where participation is inclusive and diverse. We like projects that take place in ways and in settings that provide positive opportunities and experiences for the young people involved. Please provide a description of the young people who will participate in the project and how they will become involved.Feedback
